Commercial Choreography (Heels or Sneakers), and Beginner/Beginner Intermediate Heels

Class Description: Dance is always a great way to relieve stress, be present, and forget for a moment all of the responsibilities that wait for you. Island Rhythm dance classes offer a space where adults can come together, and express themselves creatively through the art and movement of dance while making friends and companionship in the process- No matter what age or experience you have. These classes offered are a mix of hip hop, contemporary, and sassy moves. Wear heels, OR sneakers (we can work you up to it!)

Your Host

Sheenagh has danced competitively from the age of six, in ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical.
She became a professional cheerleader for the CFL by the age of 18.
As an adult, she became certified as a dance instructor, and dance studio owner.

Her passion is teaching adults choreography, contemporary dance, hip hop and commercial heels.

Sheenagh is also a Registered Nurse with a Master of Nursing and a Major in teaching adults. She brings her Graduate level education in Androgogy (adult learning) methods to her dance instructing and has extensive leadership and teaching experience.

Sheenagh is a busy mother of three, and a working professional, and understands the difficulty in finding friends and companionship as an adult- while juggling multiple life responsibilities. She hopes Island Rhythm will be a way for adults to come together, relieve stress, and express themselves creatively through the art of dance while making friends throughout the experience.
