HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPERIENCE
Cloud 9 Sunday sing along hosted by Richard Spencer is a relaxed 90 minutes of communal musical enjoyment. Bring your love of song, your voice and an acoustic instrument if you play one. Or simply come and kick back and enjoy the music as an observer. This everyone welcome weekly event is a no pressure way of getting familiar with playing music with other players and singers. Songs are selected with simplicity and familiarity in mind. $10 (suggested donation)
Your host Richard Spencer has been making music for 40 years. He has performed in front of thousands of people in parks, theatres, venues in Vancouver, beach resorts in Thailand. He’s played Jazz fest, fringe fest, writers fest, folk fest. He has performed solo and as a member of various groups. He has also performed naked in a musical play about “Wreck Beach”. He will be clothed for the sing along.
His most cherished musical experience was jamming a variety of Jimi Hendrix songs with the incomparable Nigel Kennedy.
